Meet Kathryn.
Owner + Principal
“Live life well” is my personal philosophy & basis for how I support clients through design. 15 years ago, I came to interior design from a rich background in the arts & event planning. Studying art & design in Florence, Italy in 2001 exposed me to a new world of aesthetics & materiality, opening a door I finally walked through in 2008 when I joined a high-end residential firm in Boston, MA. Since then, I’ve designed bars & restaurants, custom furnishings, and of course: residential homes. In 2022 I became a certified Relationship Coach to better support couples navigating the decisions & stressors of a major home renovation. And as a certified wine professional, my clients receive the opportunity for a private guided tasting for friends & family in their newly completed kitchen. Design is so much more than form & function; it’s about how we live & share life’s experiences.

Design Process
We're with you concept to completion.
Home renovation is an investment & our goal is to deliver a space you’ll be happy with for many years to come. We offer a concierge experience through all project phases, lending consideration to every detail. Lifestyle, budget & timeline are addressed up front alongside aesthetics & taste to ensure a successful outcome. Multiple project touchpoints, 3D renderings & in-person meetings offer opportunities for revisions & budget check-ins prior to final documentation.
CONCEPT
Every design starts as a collection of ideas. We work with you to translate this into a workable concept through imagery, layout options & materials exploration.
DEVELOPMENT
We refine the layout, materials palette & fixture package, and meet with the cabinet shop. A drawing set is created to refine pricing with your contractor.
DOCUMENTATION
All construction documentation is created. Any final adjustments for budget are made. We review everything with you and your contractor prior to construction.
CONSTRUCTION
We ensure the design intent is carried throughout construction. We are available to answer questions, troubleshoot or make re-selections if needed.
